Hüseyin Seherli, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Panda Aluminium, stated that 2025 was a positive year for the company and that they aim to sustain their export momentum in 2026. Seherli emphasized that low-carbon production in the aluminum industry is no longer a choice but a necessity.

Highlighting that Türkiye has risen to become a regional hub in aluminum production, Seherli underlined that the sector is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by sustainability. He pointed out that the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism has accelerated this process, adding, “Sustainable production has become a fundamental criterion for the aluminum industry.”

Focusing on sustainable production, Panda Aluminium aims to increase its capacity by 30% in 2026. Operating under the Panda Group since 2006, the company manufactures for sectors such as packaging, automotive, durable consumer goods, and cooling systems at its facilities in Kahramankazan, Ankara. According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, Panda Aluminium ranks 402nd among Türkiye’s top 1,000 exporters.

Seherli stated that they aim to carry the export momentum achieved in 2025 into 2026 and noted that early compliance with carbon regulations provides a competitive advantage. He added that their production structure—based on self-generated electricity and recyclable raw materials—has enabled them to secure a strong position, particularly in the European market.

In addition to Europe, Seherli noted that they are also evaluating growth opportunities in the United States, North Africa, South America, and the Middle East. He emphasized that Türkiye is emerging as an alternative supplier to China. In this context, he announced that the investment, which will increase capacity by approximately 30%, is near completion and is planned to be commissioned in January 2026.

Emphasizing that their 2026 targets are aligned with their 2030 vision, Seherli stated that they are focused on sustainable growth, concluding: “With the approach of producing more by consuming less for the future of the world, we prioritize creating value for the environment, people, and all our stakeholders.”
